LIEUTENANT GENERAL WILLIAM E. HALL
Born at
McAlester, Okla., in 1907, Retired
Oct. 1, 1961, Died May 28, 1984.
During the crucial
period of World War II, General Hall was assigned to the 15th Air Force in the
Mediterranean Theater as chief of the American mission to Bulgaria. Later he was
appointed deputy commander of the 15th Air Force in Italy.
