This monument " Founders of Bulgarian state ( please follow the link " The monument" from the home page ) was opened in November 1981 . Before it the building of the former camp 2 was destroyed (It was behind the bush on the picture). This area from 1935 till 1979 was under strong military control.( The photo provided by Mark LaScotte).
